A panorama like in a fairy tale
The air here at 1,450 metres above sea level is definitely fresher than down in the valley. Your gaze wanders over deep green forests, lush meadows and the mighty rock formations of Rosengarten and Latemar.
It’s hard to believe that it’s only a 20-minute drive to the vibrant centre of Bozen: Here there is hardly any traffic and no noise. Apart from the singing of the birds and the gentle sound of the mountain wind, there is nothing to hear.

Here at the Karerhof we produce meat and dairy products, process fruit, vegetables and cereals from the fields and gardens as well as herbs and berries from the nearby forest into delicious treats for your tastebuds.
Our cows are on the farm in winter, and enjoy spending the summer on lush alpine meadows. We have a few pigs, which enjoy a happy life on a healthy diet and with sufficient space. While the chickens provide fresh breakfast eggs and the bees delicious honey, the rabbits, cats and dwarf goats as well as our pony “Blacky” are responsible for the entertainment programme.
